Deborah Rhea Seehorn was born May 12, 1972. Her most well-known part is that of Kim Wexler, an attorney in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-2018) where she received two times the Satellite Award as Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She's also appeared on the NBC's Whitney (2011)-2013, ABC's with Her(2003)-2004 and TNT's Franklin & Bash (2011)-2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn was conceived in Norfolk, Virginia on May 12, 1972. Her mother worked as an executive assistant for the United States Navy, while her father worked as an agent for the Naval Investigative Service; her family moved often during her youth, living in Washington, D.C. and Arizona, as well as in Japan. She followed the example of her father and grandmother by learning about architecture, painting and drawing at a young age. Although she was interested in all of the arts in her life, she also developed an interest in acting. In college she was introduced the world of contemporary theater. She graduated with a BA in Studio Art from George Mason University in 1994. Seehorn started her college career as an actor, and was supported by her acting instructor. To be noticed she did ancillary roles in D.C.'s theater industry. However, she never managed to land major roles in local theater productions and had to work odd jobs in order in order to survive, she continued to work in the film industry as a teacher filmmaker. In the next few years, she became part of more television productions. It was common for her to be compared to Bea Arthur, whom was described by her as "very funny," "sarcastic, and well-educated" women. These roles were usually cancelled after only one to two seasons. Seehorn was the lead in Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spinoff series. Seehorn is Kim Wexler (a lawyer) and is the love interest of the main character, Jimmy McGill/Saul.
