Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter (born July 23, 1970) is an American actress. Cordelia Chase played the role of Cordelia in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's supernatural thriller (1997-1999) and the spin-off show Angel (1999-04). She also appeared in Charmed (2004) as well as Kendall Casablanca's in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was the main character in The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter attended the Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas. Carpenter was also part of a dance and song group which performed in Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter's family moved to Rosario Beach (Baja California, Mexico) at the age of Carpenter was just 15 years old. She went to Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter traveled all over Europe after graduating. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, as an aerobics instructor, property manager, and as a clerk. She cheered for the San Diego Chargers football club in the year 1991. She moved to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. confronted her along with two of her male buddies while they were swimming in San Diego. He was a former San Diego cop and serial rapist who attempted to subdue them by threatening them with a firearm. Her friends as well as Hubbard were shot in the struggle. Hubbard fled the scene but both of her companions were able to escape. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 year in prison for a series of rapes and as well as robberies. Carpenter removed Hubbard's flashlight which was a police-issue flashlight, away from the shore. The flashlight was a crucial piece of evidence used against Hubbard.
