Thora Birch

Thora Birch was born March 11 on 1982. She is an American producer, actress, and director. In 1988 she made her film debut with Purple People Eater. For the role, she was awarded a Young Artist Award as "Best Young Actress under Nine Years of Age". Birch was a big star when she was a child star and was featured in films like All I Want for Christmas (1991), Patriot Games (92), Hocus Pocus (93), Monkey Trouble (1994), Now and Then (1995) and Alaska (1996). In 1999, she was nominated for a BAFTA nomination. In 2001, she won for Best Actress for Ghost World. Birch was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003 for her performance as the lead character in Homeless to Harvard:The Liz Murray Story. Birch has also been a part of Dungeons & Dragons (2000) and The Hole (2001), Silver City (2004) and Dark Corners (2006). She was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003. Birch was also the Whisperer Mary/Gamma during the season 10 episode of The Walking Dead (2019-202). Birch was born in Los Angeles, the eldest child of Jack Birch and Carol Connors. Birch was born in Los Angeles, and her family's ancestral surname was Biersch and is German-Jewish, Scandinavian, French-Canadian and Italian descent.  Her name, "Thora," is the name that comes from Thora, the Norse god thunder and lightning ("Thor"), which could have been her name if she were a boy. Kian Bolt Birch is her younger brother. Both of her parents have been actors in adult movies and appeared in Deep Throat. Due to their own experience in the entertainment industry the parents were reluctant initially to support Thora. However, Thora's image was shown to agents when a babysitter spotted her fake commercials. Birch was just four years old when she had her first big break when the babysitter invited her to audition for an Quaker Oats advertisement.
