Rena Sherel SOFER

Rena Sherel SOFER is an American actress from the United States. Her performances include daytime television guests, occasional guest performances and television-friendly films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap drama General Hospital. Quinn Fuller has been her role in the CBS soap show The Bold and The Beautiful since 2013. Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (a psychologist professor) and Martin Sofer (a Conservative rabbi). Her family then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until following divorce from her parents,[citation requiredSofer moved with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She was a student at the Frisch School, an coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer was born in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. She completed her studies at North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College. Sofer first played Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as a band manager. Her first role on television was as Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap hosting host. Sofer is perhaps most well-known for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo on General Hospital (December 15 1993 - September 24, 1996). Later, she was an actor on the show (February 7-17, 1997 from September 30th through October 2nd , 1997). Her performance as the hilarious Lois received Sofer an award in the form of a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. Sofer was asked to join CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in the role she had just created as Quinn Fuller. Her first episode aired July 12. Sofer has appeared as a guest star/supporting cast member in a number of high-profile primetime television shows, such as Seinfeld and Melrose Place. Her first episode aired on July 12.
