Kim Cattrall

 

Kim Victoria Cattrall, born 21 August 1956 is a Canadian actress from British Columbia. Her role in the role of Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) is her most well-known role. She was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominees. In 2002, she was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The role was reprised in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Cattrall's debut film was Rosebud (1975) as well as she went on to play various roles on television. With films like Ticket To Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), Hold-Up (85) and City Limits(85), Big Trouble in Little China [86The Mannequin [86 Mannequin[] (1987), Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in 1989, and The Return of the Musketeers in 1989, she became known as a household name. Tribute (1980), Porky's(1981), Turk 182 (85) and Baby Geniuses(1999) were a few of her appearances. Other credits include The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (91), Split Second (1992), Above Suspicion (95) and 15 Minutes (192001).
